There simply isn't enough room to upload all of the pictures we took that helped us capture the memories of a wonderful anniversary weekend (March 5th). John and I stayed at the Clark House, a historic mansion on Hayden Lake, now converted to a spectacular bed & breakfast. It felt more like a honeymoon....we had such a wonderful time touring the place and reading the history by the murals on the walls throughout the old place. It was just beautiful and you could feel the richness of the history. We went out to dinner in town (Chinese) then came back to enjoy our time at the mansion. Early the next morning, we had a wonderful breakfast of Italian sausage and pancakes with steamed apples and fresh orange juice awaiting us in the library. We were treated like royalty. Rumor has it that they are going to be producing a movie based on the life of the original owners, starring Patty Duke. Should be a fun watch. After check-out, John and I drove around the lake and went in search of more fun on a bright and sunny day. We found a lake (Mirror Lake) that we plan on camping at this summer. Heard it has plenty of fish. After a long day of driving around and shopping, we checked into a hotel near Post Falls as Liliana's blessing was the next day. Jayden met us at the hotel - he'd been staying with Jehkiah for the weekend.
